Photos

I posted some photos (see link), and some of them are even interesting. Turns out 100 MB isn't that much, though, so I had to stop about halfway through. Oh well.

Loved the photos--you are doing a great job of documenting your trip in pix! So if you don't know why it's called the "Death Gate," weren't you a little nervous about walking under it????

I googled it for you: the Neva Gate (Death Gate) was called that because prisoners went out that way to be taken to their execution, so once you walked out through that gate, you knew death was imminent.

Are you going to pen your first book? Sort of a loose whimsical serious tome? Enjoy the posts so far and the pics are interesting too. Didn't see a Walmart anywhere! Happy 4th! (a bit early)
